In this workshop, we’ll use “Go Tell It on the Mountain” to explore the rhythms, ornaments, phrasing, and stylistic choices that define each genre. Along the way, you’ll discover how to give familiar tunes a completely different musical vibe. Capo required. This class will be recorded and available for students to view for one month after the festival.
