Sam Edelston: "Baritone Dulcimer in a Standard World"(Thursday, Session 3, Mountain Dulcimer, Intermediate)

$12.50

By itself, playing a baritone tends to be fairly similar to playing a standard dulcimer, except that it may be in a more singable key. But when you put both kinds of dulcimer together in the same room, your baritone can take on new, different roles to enrich the combined music. We’ll examine ways to accompany, harmonize, and complement the higher-voiced dulcimers. Come tuned in AEA. Class recording will be available for about a month after the festival.
