This tuning allows a standard dulcimer fretboard to play notes that are not available in other tunings such as DAD or DGD. It also allows for some fuller, more contemporary sounding chords. We will explore 2-3 familiar songs that make use of this tuning and discuss what type of songs lend themselves well to 1-3-5 tuning. Audio tracks will be provided and a video made available to those who cannot attend at the scheduled time.
