Charles Whitmer: "How To Shape An Instrumental Tune" (Saturday, Session 3, Autoharp, Intermediate Advanced)
There's so much more to making music than simply playing the notes. As instrumental musicians we are tasked with being our own conductor/director/performer. We will spend out class time working up a concert worthy version of the beautifully lush traditional Welsh air, "By Kell's Waters". We will explore various techniques to creatively expand this hauntingly beautiful simple air into a performance piece.
